Volunteer Registration

The Trenton Area Soup Kitchen (TASK) is a non-profit organization with a mission to feed those who are hungry in the Trenton area and offer programs to encourage self-sufficiency and improve the quality of life of its patrons. TASK's board, staff, and patrons invite you to help. Meals are served Monday through Saturday at our Escher Street location. Please use this service to select and register for volunteer events. If you are registering a group online registration of all attending members results in faster, easier check-in on your volunteer date.

Volunteer Opportunities

Dinner Service Volunteers Welcome to the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen (TASK). We serve dinner every Monday - Thursday from 3:30 - 4:50 pm. Meal service volunteers work as a team to distribute delicious and nutritious meals to our patrons in TASK's dining room. You are expected to do a light-duty assignment for one hours, twenty minutes. All volunteers must provide proof of vaccination and be at least 13 years old. Whether you are serving as a member of a group or on your own, you will find a friendly and engaged staff and like-minded people eager to help.
